![]() ![]() DoubleTwist also has an interesting sharing feature that lets you select any piece of content from within the program and e-mail a link to a streaming version of that content to your friends (the content itself is stored on DoubleTwist's servers). It also boasts integration with Amazon's MP3 store, giving you a rough equivalent to the iTunes Store. Plug in any supported device, and DoubleTwist immediately recognizes it, lets you choose content to sync (pictures, videos, and either all your music or select iTunes playlists), and then begins syncing that data with a single click of a button. I neglected to mention an excellent application called DoubleTwist, which offers the easy sync experience of iTunes for a much wider variety of devices, including all the Android phones currently on the market, most BlackBerrys, Sony's PlayStation Portable, and a huge range of other non-Apple products-as well as the iPod and iPhone, if you're so inclined.ĭoubleTwist has a large orange Sync button in exactly the same location as iTunes.Ĭreated in part by Jon Lech Johansen (aka DVD Jon), who's best known for helping crack the encryption system used on video DVDs, DoubleTwist is available as a free download for both Windows (including Windows 7) and Mac. Is there a clear path for a few weaps from early to late game, that favor Str primarily (Dex 2nd if needed), have range and good move sets, and are not slow as molasses?įeel free to also share your enthusiasm for your favorite tool of death :)Yesterday, I blogged about how the forthcoming Droid won't be an iPhone killer because it lacks the simple sync interface provided by the iTunes desktop application. Long story short, there is a smorgashboard of weapons and contrarily to many (in contrast with BB) I find it a detriment as I'd wish to be able to focus on 1-2 favorites for upgrades. And I'd love to use a Machete or Butcher Knife, but they are massively heavy and it impacts rolls big time.Īnd online, basically everybody has a different opinion it seems, but apparently I should avoid weapons that can't be infused/ buffed, and the ones that lack range or have bad move sets/weapon art? The Deep Battle Axe is ok, but bit slow and range is lacking (same for Brigand, but the weight is awesome). The irithyll straight sword seems to do great damage, but requires special mats to upg. The Claymore is supposed to be an early good one, but it's so slow. ![]() ![]() So far the longsword has been my jack of all trades, but online I read Ultras and eventually Dark weaps are all the rage. As upgrading resources can get scarce, and only 1 can be upped all the way. Because I can't seem to be able to choose -1- (or 2) weapons.Īnd if Bloodborne taught me one thing, you want to choose well, in order to upgrade your favorite, and have a good time in the end game. I started (knight) thinking I'd go straight Str for my first go, but now as I get more and more weapons to choose from, I am thinking Str/ Dex. Had a great time so far as I start the Road of Sacrifices (after a rough start, but it seems that just like for BB the start is hard, and it actually gets a bit easier over time between getting a hang on things, and building up your character), but there is one thing that is leaving me a bit anxious and puzzled: weapon choice (PVE). Now keep in mind, I have never played a Souls before, outside of Bloodborne (which is more of a "cousin" really, though a lot of mechanics are similar). Well, here I am, Bloodborne veteran, and as my (awesome) wife got me both DQ XI and DS3 for my Xmas/Bday, I am finally getting my feet wet with a classic Souls game.
